First Italian Workshop on Hadron Physics and Non-Perturbative QCD
This is the first Italian Workshop on Hadron Physics and Non-Perturbative QCD. It will be held from 20th to 22nd April 2015 at the congress centre Sant'Agostino, in the centre of Cortona.
The workshop starts on monday 20th morning and the partecipants can register starting from sunday 19th from 5:30 PM at the workshop site. The idea of this workshop was born within the discussions and the events related to the INFN "What's Next" process and the completion of the White Book of CSN1.
The workshop is meant as an occasion for the Italian community involved in Hadron Physics and non Perturbative QCD to meet, discuss, exchange information and plan its future.
The workshop is structured in review talks and description of the current activities. Ample time is left for discussions, with a concluding round table on Wednesday morning. Although for a better organisation the talks are by invitation only, we hope for a large and active participation of many people involved in the field.
The themes to be discussed can be summarised as:
- 3-Dimensional nucleon structure
- Hadron spectroscopy
- p-p cross section, elastic scattering and diffraction physics
- Multi Parton Interactions and Underlying Event
- Cosmic rays and accelerator physics
